Dr. David Adame received his dental degree at the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio. He went on to receive his orthodontic specialty and Masters in Orthodontics at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

He has served as President of the following organizations: The Rio Grande Valley District Dental Society, The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce, The Texas Association of Orthodontics, Texas Orthodontic Study Club and The University of Texas Orthodontic Alumni Association. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and College of the Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists. He began as a General Dentist in 1981 in Edinburg, Texas and practiced for 10 years before going back to school in 1991. He then returned to Edinburg to practice Orthodontics until 2022.

In 2022, he transitioned out of his private practice and relocated to Houston to be closer to his children and grandchildren. He and his wife Dale Anne are avid hikers, bikers, gardeners and bird watchers! They also enjoy attending and participating in many service projects at their church.
